Garlic Scapes in Oil

Good way to cook them for preserving them in the freezer.

Garlic Scapes in Oil

  1. 1/4 c olive oil
  2. 2 c finely diced scapes
  3. pinch of salt
  1. 1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat
  2. 2. Add the scapes and salt and saute until softened, 3-5 mins
  1. transfer to a bowl, cool, cover, refrigerate for up to 3 days
  1. Spoon the scapes into ice cube trays, cover and freeze for up to 6 months
